Who we are and what this covers
HockeyHub is a hockey club management platform. This policy describes how the operators of HockeyHub collect, use, disclose, and protect information through hockeyhub.club, our mobile app, and connected features, including Social Studio and Facebook Page publishing.
Clubs using HockeyHub also make decisions about their own membership, operations, and scholarship records. Contact your club about those decisions; contact HockeyHub about the platform and its connected services using the contact instructions below.
Information we collect
- Accounts: names, email addresses, authentication information, roles, permissions, and account preferences.
- Club operations: information entered by you or authorized club staff, such as schedules, team and facility information, volunteer or work records, concession activity, inventory, and operational reports.
- Scholarships: application contact details, educational and hockey history, essays, supporting documents, email verification records, and reviewer decisions and notes.
- Content: uploaded photos, videos, documents, messages, draft captions, prompts, generated artwork, scheduled posts, and publishing results. Content may include information about other people if you provide it.
- Connections: connected Facebook Page information, authorization tokens, and any AI service API key you choose to save. We store saved Facebook tokens and AI API keys in encrypted form.
- Technical information: IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, authentication activity, and error or security logs processed when you use the service. Cookies and local device storage support sessions, preferences, and cached app resources.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain HockeyHub; authenticate users and enforce permissions; manage club activities and scholarship reviews; store, generate, schedule, and publish content you authorize; send verification and service messages; provide support; investigate errors, fraud, and abuse; and meet legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide requested services, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform, comply with law, or with consent where required. You can withdraw consent for optional connections by revoking access and requesting deletion.
Facebook and Meta information
Connecting Facebook is optional. With your authorization, we request access to list Pages you manage, read Page information needed to support the connection, and create or manage Page posts. A business-managed Page connection may also request business management access to discover Pages assigned to you.
We receive Page identifiers, names, access tokens, and Page task or permission information, and associate saved Page connections with your HockeyHub account. We retain post identifiers, publishing status, and related error information for posts created through HockeyHub. Tokens allow publishing and scheduled publishing without asking you to reconnect for every post. We do not ask for or store your Facebook password.
We use Meta information only to provide the connected features described here. We do not sell Meta information, use it for advertising targeting, or send Facebook authorization tokens to AI services. Content you submit for generation may be sent to the selected AI provider as described below.
Publishing sends your selected caption and media to Meta, where the audience depends on your Page and post settings. Scheduled posts and enabled automations can publish later under your authorization. Meta processes information under its own Privacy Policy. See Facebook data deletion instructions to revoke access or request removal of data we hold.
When information is shared
Authorized club users can access records according to their roles. Content selected for public displays, sponsor pages, or social publishing can be visible publicly. Only submit material you have permission to use and publish, especially images or information about children.
We use service providers to host the platform, store data, authenticate accounts, deliver email, and process requested features. These include Supabase for authentication and storage, our hosting providers, Resend for service email, and OpenAI when AI features are used. AI requests can include selected text, prompts, images, or sampled video frames, and generated results are stored with your content. Avoid submitting confidential or sensitive information that is unnecessary for generation.
We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate privacy protections. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and support the purposes in this policy. Retention depends on account activity, club recordkeeping needs, pending requests, security needs, and legal obligations. Uploaded content and records may remain until removed by an authorized user or through a verified deletion request; signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete server records.
We use access controls, authentication, and encryption of saved connection secrets to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
When information is deleted from active systems, backup copies may remain until they expire through normal backup rotation. We may retain limited records where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Retained information is restricted to those purposes. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate; privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can update available account settings, manage content within your permissions, revoke optional service access, and request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a privacy decision, or complain to a supervisory authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Contact us using the instructions below. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority, and will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason and any available next steps. Blocking cookies or clearing local storage may require you to sign in again or affect functionality.
Facebook data deletion and account deletion
- To stop future Facebook access, open your Facebook settings, find Apps and Websites or Business Integrations, and remove HockeyHub. The location may vary by account. Disable any scheduled posts or automations in HockeyHub that you no longer want to run.
- To delete data held by HockeyHub, follow the contact instructions below with the subject HockeyHub data deletion request. Include the email associated with your HockeyHub account, the connected Page name or identifier if known, and whether you want Facebook connection data removed or your entire HockeyHub account and associated personal information deleted. You can make this request without signing in or keeping the app installed. Never send passwords, API keys, or access tokens.
- After verifying the request, we will remove the relevant Facebook connection records and saved tokens, stop associated publishing access, and delete associated personal data within the scope of your request, subject to the retention exceptions above and applicable Meta requirements. We will confirm completion or explain any information that must be retained.
Revoking Facebook access alone does not delete records already stored by HockeyHub. Deleting HockeyHub records does not automatically remove posts already published to Facebook, copies held by other people, or information independently held by Meta. Manage those posts through your Facebook Page and contact Meta for requests concerning its own records.
Children and youth information
HockeyHub account and publishing features are intended for adults and authorized club staff, rather than children under 13. Club records, scholarship applications, and submitted media may concern young people. Parents, guardians, and authorized club representatives should provide any permission required by law before submitting a child's information or publishing their likeness. If you believe we collected a child's information without required authorization, contact us to review and remove it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here with an updated date and provide additional notice or request consent when required by law.
Contact and privacy requests
Email the HockeyHub operator at info@seiwert.co for privacy questions, rights requests, or data deletion. For deletion, use the subject HockeyHub data deletion request and include the details listed above. You do not need to sign in to make a request.
